Your people sit with the client
A partner, lawyer, or paralegal works through a structured interview with the client: testator details, family and dependants, executors, guardians, specific gifts, the residuary estate, and funeral wishes. The relationship stays with your people; Wemmick takes the record.

A draft, with red flags
Wemmick assembles the will from your firm's own approved clause library. Anything the library has no clause for is drafted by the model and flagged. Deterministic rules check for issues such as Part IV exposure or a missing trust for a minor beneficiary, each with a grounded explanation.

The lawyer approves and exports
A supervising lawyer reviews every clause and approves, returns, or edits the draft in a console. On approval, Wemmick exports the will, an execution checklist, a plain-English client summary, and a matter record — with a full audit trail.
Runs today
The autonomous firm is built one practice area at a time. Slice one is the will drafting loop, end to end, supervised by a lawyer at every step.
- Structured will interview. Your lawyers and staff run a structured interview with the client, covering the testator, family and dependants, revocation, executors, guardians, specific gifts, the residuary estate, assets outside the will, and funeral wishes. Each section keeps a free-text notes box alongside the form.
- Lawyer-owned clause library. Every clause in the will lives in a library your supervising lawyer writes and version-controls. A new or changed clause ships marked DRAFT and cannot be used in a real matter until the lawyer reviews and approves it.
- Deterministic clause assembly. Assembly is a pure function of the interview answers and the approved library: the same inputs always produce the same draft. No model call decides which clauses go into a will.
- Model-drafted bespoke clauses, flagged. Where the interview calls for something the library has no clause for — a testamentary trust, a conditional gift — the model drafts one. It is inserted as a flagged placeholder, never silently, and a lawyer must resolve it before the draft can be approved.
- Deterministic red flags, grounded explanations. Fixed rules check the interview for issues such as Part IV exposure, a minor beneficiary with no trust, a single executor with no substitute, or non-estate assets. The model explains each finding in plain language, and every citation it makes is checked against the interview before a lawyer sees it.
- Lawyer review console and export. A lawyer approves, returns with notes, or edits every draft in a review console. On approval, Wemmick exports the will as a docx, an execution checklist PDF, a plain-English client summary PDF, and a matter record — and keeps an append-only audit of every state change and every model call.
